My name is Dawn Basham and not only am I a volleyball coach at Champion Volleyball Club and a proud co-owner of Gifty Things, I am the mother (soon to be grandmother) of two girls. I have lived in Davie County for most of my life but I grew up in Lewisville, NC. After dedicating most of my life to working with students, I decided to channel my creative energy into retail while continuing my passion for coaching. Married for thirty wonderful years, my spouse and I now coach volleyball together— both at Champion & North Davie Middle School. It's a fulfilling way to stay active and connected as our kids have grown up and started their own journeys. Come see me at the store if you are in town! I love to meet new people and chat!
